Aura Staffing Partners is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position offers guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling options, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with a supportive organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services under appropriate supervision.
Conduct client assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
Monitor client progress and document treatment outcomes.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Assist clients in identifying goals, developing coping skills, and accessing community resources.
Requirements:
Active Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) license.
Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse treatment, or counseling preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
