Responsibilities
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician provides all aspects of psychosocial mental and behavioral health services including primarily brief short-term individual and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and case management. Interviews patients and facilitates discussion around diagnosis and treatment planning. Provides case coordination, client advocacy, and linkage to outpatient services as needed. Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team. May provide clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians.
Qualifications
Education• One of the following is requiredo Master''s Degree in Social Work (MSW)o Master''s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, Professional Clinical Counseling or related field with concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Worko Community Health System approved crisis intervention training completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into position required Experience• 2 years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience required• Experience in behavioral health preferred• Experience in an inpatient or outpatient care setting preferred Licenses and Certifications• One of the following current and valid license is requiredo LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Workero LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapisto LPCC - State of California Licensed Professional Clinical Counseloro BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
