Role Description

\n

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Child/Adolescent Therapist to join our team part-time at our Coronado, CA location. The therapist will provide individual therapy to children and adolescents, collaborate with families, schools, and other support networks to develop treatment plans, and address a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, providing short-and long-term therapy, maintaining client documentation to deliver comprehensive and effective care.

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• Expertise in working with children and adolescents, along with knowledge of child developmental stages and family dynamics
• \n
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• \n
• Strong therapeutic counseling skills, including experience with evidence-based practices
• \n
• Ability to address trauma and emotional regulation in youth
• \n
• Active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) or equivalent, in the state of California
• \n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and community programs
• \n
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation
• \n
• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis interventions professionally and effectively
• \n
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• \n
• Bilingual a plus
• \n
