As part of Garver's commitment to continued innovation in airport design, our Oklahoma aviation team is dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership to assist our clients in meeting both current and future needs.Licensed Civil EngineerGarver's growing Oklahoma Aviation team is seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer who will be responsible for performing a wide array of aviation-related design, planning, grant administration, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.ResponsibilitiesProject support/management for runway and taxiway construction, airfield lighting and signage installation, access road construction, drainage improvement and pavement rehabilitation projectsSignificant design and construction oversight for multiple general aviation clientsCollaborating and coordinating design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and techniciansCoordination with clients and funding agenciesProvide outstanding servicePosition OverviewThe Licensed Civil Engineer will primarily be responsible for designing airport projects, including improvements to runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield grading, drainage, hangars, fuel farms, parking areas, terminal buildings, and other airport construction related projects.The Civil Engineer must be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplined team, work with diverse clients, and produce complete design phase deliverables, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, technical reports, and narratives. Tasks associated with creating a set of construction documents include drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates.
