Job Summary
This position is for a Maryland LCPC who wants to provide therapy in a remote clinical setting. You will work directly with clients through secure video sessions, helping them process concerns, identify patterns, manage symptoms, and stay engaged in their treatment goals.
The day-to-day work includes intake sessions, therapy appointments, care planning, documentation, and progress reviews. This is a strong fit for a counselor who is organized, steady with follow-through, and comfortable providing care through telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients located in Maryland
- Complete clinical intakes and identify presenting concerns
- Build treatment plans that are clear, realistic, and client-specific
- Help clients develop practical tools for managing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Document each session according to clinical and compliance standards
- Evaluate progress and revise goals when clinically appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality across all remote communication and records
- Follow required steps when client safety concerns arise
Requirements
- Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience providing therapy in outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth settings
- Ability to work independently while managing a remote caseload
- Strong written documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable using electronic health records and telehealth tools
