LicensedClinical Psychologist - Autism Diagnostic Evaluations (Licensed Ph.D./Psy.D.)

Help Children. Focus on Clinical Excellence. Leave the Administrative Work to Us.

At Behavioral Innovations, our mission is to transform the lives of children with autism through early identification and compassionate care. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you'll focus on what you do best - conducting comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations and providing meaningful guidance to families—while our dedicated Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Operations teams handle the administrative responsibilities.

If you're passionate about diagnosing autism in children and want the flexibility to design your own schedule while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team, we'd love to meet you.

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX metroplex

Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position where psychologists conduct in-person autism evaluations at assigned Behavioral Innovations centers and complete report writing and documentation remotely.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

  • Hybrid work environment
  • Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends
  • Flexible scheduling - you create your own schedule within our operating hours
  • Approximately 2 hours of in-person testing per evaluation
  • Administrative support provided by dedicated Operations and Revenue Cycle teams so you can focus on patient care
  • Up to $2,000 annually for Continuing Education
  • Work life Balance: 20 days PTO, 7 Paid Holidays, plus 3 paid Continuing Education days
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving children's lives

Your Role and What You'll Do:

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you'll serve as an integral member of our Diagnostic Services team, helping families receive timely, accurate autism diagnoses that guide meaningful treatment recommendations.

You'll have the opportunity to focus on high-quality clinical care while our Operations and Revenue Cycle teams support the non-clinical aspects of the practice.

  • Conduct comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations for children using standardized assessment measures
  • Determine whether children meet diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder or require additional evaluation
  • Interpret testing results and develop accurate clinical diagnoses
  • Prepare comprehensive, timely, and clinically sound psychological evaluation reports
  • Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations and referrals
  • Meet with families to review findings and answer questions with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with physicians, BCBAs, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in program development, education, community outreach, and clinical training opportunities as appropriate
  • Provide supervision to staff when appropriate
