The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination services to patients across the continuum of care. The LCSW delivers evidence-based psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions while collaborating with medical providers, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to support whole-person care.
This position practices within the scope of licensure and in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
What you will be doing:
Clinical Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, establish DSM-5 diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
- Assess and manage patient risk, including crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
Care Coordination & Collaboration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated patient care.
- Coordinate referrals and connect patients with internal and community behavioral health resources.
- Participate in case conferences and advocate for patient access to appropriate services.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR in compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Professional Practice
- Maintain current licensure and knowledge of best practices in behavioral health.
- Engage in peer consultation, continuing education, and departmental performance initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
- Crisis assessment and intervention expertise.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Your Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Washington.
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to maintain licensure and required continuing education.
