Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Student Counseling Services

Location: St. Louis, MO 63110
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program

• Active and unencumbered Missouri LCSW license

• Clinical experience with children or adolescents

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Experience supporting students with special needs preferred

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care

• Ability to complete required background checks, screenings, and fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small-group counseling to students

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans

• Provide crisis response and behavioral support

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings

• Maintain confidential clinical documentation and progress reports

• Connect students and families with appropriate community and social service resources

• Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs
