Licensed ClinicalSupervisor 

Community Psychiatric Institute, a leader in Behavioral Healthcare and Chemical Dependency treatment for over 54 years in Essex County, is seeking an innovative & dedicated individual to work full-time as the Clinical Supervisor in our adult psychiatric Partial Care program.


CPI’s mission is to provide evidenced-based, person centered care in order to improve the quality of life for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. We are looking for a self motivated, dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team and embrace our agency’s vision, mission and values.

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm


Requirements:


  • LPC, LCSW or equivalent license required.  
  • Minimum 5 years progressive clinical experience with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring populations.
Preferred - in addition to above (one of the following):


  • Supervisory experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:


Provide clinical oversight of services and documentation:


  • Provide leadership and support to clinical staff, fostering collaboration and a positive workplace culture.
  • Responsible for oversight and management of clinical team including compliance with required documentation standards, staff productivity and program accountability for clinical services.
  • Provide ongoing guidance to clinical staff to ensure excellence in delivery of services, quality of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Assist with program development and oversight through integration of evidence-based practices. 
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training of clinical staff.
  • Ensure accuracy of clinical documents including treatment plans, progress notes and other required state mandated documentation.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work professionally with our multi-disciplinary team and foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Ability to learn and efficiently use an electronic health record.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to supervise clinical staff per State requirements.
  • Must be goal-driven, organized, and efficient in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and effectively navigate crisis situations.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent, client-centered care.
