    About the Role

    The Licensed Clinical Supervisor for the BSAS-C - Conexiones department will serve as the primary organizer, monitor, and overseer of the therapeutic services provided across our residential and acute treatment programs. In this role, you will ensure that all clinical services meet high standards of quality, compliance, and culturally responsive care. You will provide direct clinical supervision, guidance, and support to therapists, helping them deliver effective interventions and maintain best practices in documentation, treatment planning, and crisis response. This is a salaried position with an hourly conversion rate. Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred, as a significant portion of our client population and their families may be Spanish-speaking.


    What You'll Do

    • Provide clinical supervision, support, and mentorship to therapists within the BSAS-C - Conexiones residential and acute treatment programs.
    • Oversee and coordinate the therapeutic functions, services, and workflows of assigned clinical staff to ensure high-quality, client-centered care.
    • Monitor treatment planning, clinical documentation, and progress notes for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
    • Ensure that clinical interventions are aligned with evidence-based practices, program models, and individual treatment goals.
    • Conduct regular individual and/or group supervision, including reviewing clinical cases, assessing risk, and guiding treatment strategies.
    • Support therapists in managing crises, safety concerns, and high-risk situations, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
    • Collaborate with program leadership and other departments to integrate clinical services with overall program goals and operational needs.
    • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback for clinical staff as requested by program leadership.
    • Promote culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, with particular attention to the needs of Spanish-speaking clients and families.
    • Assist in developing and updating clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes and service data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for staff development.
    • Provide occasional direct clinical services as needed, including assessments, crisis evaluations, and consultation with families and external providers.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain current knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in behavioral health and clinical supervision.


    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in the human services field, i.e., social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, addiction counseling, or a related field.
    • LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 licensing and 3 years of experience providing clinical supervision to an interdisciplinary team in a similar substance use disorder treatment environment
    • Bilingual, Spanish, preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain and chart documentation in accordance with regulations
    • Knowledge of various substance use treatment modalities
    • Knowledge of issues collateral to substance use
    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff
    • Strong knowledge of county and state federal regulations
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at other Casa Esperanza locations within a year after treatment. This consideration will be subject to the standard hiring process and must not compromise ethical standards, patient care, or the reputation of Casa Esperanza.

    • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Travel: Travel is primarily local (Merrimack Valley area) during the business day

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
