Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial electrical experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Capable of installing and bending EMT conduit independently

• Experience working safely on active commercial construction sites

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License required

• OSHA 10 certification is a plus

Required Skills

• EMT conduit installation and bending (90s, offsets, kicks, saddles, and box offsets)

• Conduit layout and routing

• Wire pulling and cable installation

• MC cable installation

• Installation of lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, and electrical devices

• Installation of junction boxes, supports, and raceways

• Basic electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter

• Ability to operate scissor lifts and work from ladders

• Knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices and the National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
