Licensed Electrical Apprentice
Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is seeking motivated Licensed Electrical Apprentices to support our utility-scale solar project in Belen, NM. If you're eager to learn the electrical trade, work alongside experienced electricians, and build a career in renewable energy, we'd love to hear from you.
No previous solar experience is required but will need electrical knowledge.
Must be Licensed in New México.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical construction industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation of DC and AC electrical systems on utility-scale solar projects
- Help install conduit, wire, cable trays, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret basic drawings and project layouts with guidance from experienced team members
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Learn electrical installation techniques while following company safety standards
- Support daily project activities as directed by field leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction or electrical experience is preferred but not required
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation to and from the project site
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
