Mr. Electric of Tri-Cities services all of Northeast Tennessee. Our focus is residential and commercial service, resulting installations and small projects. Our service professionals are experienced electricians who treat people right. Although service is about 75% of our work, we do some remodels and tenant improvement projects.
- What if I am a great electrician, but not sure about service work?
- This is Avery, owner of Mr. Electric. I cut my teeth on new construction, remodeling and small to larger projects in residential and commercial. In those early years I absolutely loved the excitement of construction. I assumed that there was no money in service and that the only people doing it were so old that they couldn’t do anything else. Was I ever wrong! When done right, service is much more profitable than construction. Construction does not reward you for your great people skills, nor does it reward you for your great trouble-shooting skills. Service also provides you with more interesting challenges…and yes…is much less wear and tear on the body. You are rewarded for your know-how, skills and ability to consult with people…not just your speed!

Specific Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment
- Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs
- Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
- Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects
- Follow established processes and procedures
