As a Fire Alarm Technician you will be responsible for the installation maintenance inspection and repair of fire alarm systems in various commercial and residential buildings. The technician ensures that all fire alarm systems comply with local state and federal regulations. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and program fire alarm systems including panels sensors and related components.Perform routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper operation.Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems to identify and resolve any issues or potential problems.Troubleshoot and repair faulty fire alarm systems and components.Ensure all fire alarm systems meet relevant codes regulations and standards.Maintain accurate records of inspections maintenance and repairs.Provide excellent service to customers answering any questions and addressing concerns about fire safety.Respond to emergency service requests in a timely and efficient manner.QualificationsMust hold a valid Fire Alarm Technician license as required by the state of Massachusetts.Minimum of 2 years experience in the installation maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems.High school diploma or equivalent.
