SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Funeral Director to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting families, coordinating services, and ensuring all operations are handled with professionalism and care.


Key Responsibilities

• Meet with families and assist with funeral and cremation arrangements
  
  
• Coordinate and oversee services, ensuring a high level of care and presentation
  
  
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
  
  
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations
  
  
• Participate in on-call rotation and daily operational communication
  
  

Qualifications

• Georgia Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
  
  
• Prior funeral service experience preferred
  
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
