Responsibilities

Talk with clients about their insurance needs and guide them toward the right coverage

Build new relationships through referrals, outreach, and follow-up conversations

Review existing policies and look for gaps, savings, and better-fit options

Help clients understand their choices so they can make confident decisions

Prepare quotes, explain policy details, and support the application process

Maintain accurate records of client information and policy activity

Stay current on product updates, carrier guidelines, and licensing requirements

Provide steady, friendly service that encourages long-term client trust


Requirements

Active Maine Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license

Prior insurance sales or customer service experience

Strong communication and listening skills

Ability to explain coverage options clearly and simply

Comfort handling phone calls, follow-ups, and client meetings

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools

Reliable, self-directed work style

Preferred: knowledge of local Maine insurance needs and markets

Preferred: experience with cross-selling and account rounding
