Salary Range: $220000.00 - $250000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Help clients understand their coverage options and choose policies that fit their needs

Guide policyholders through quotes, applications, renewals, and policy changes

Respond to client questions with patience, clarity, and professionalism

Identify opportunities to review existing policies and recommend better protection where needed

Maintain accurate records of client conversations, documents, and transactions

Support long-term client relationships through attentive service and follow-through

Work closely with the team to keep accounts organized and customers well cared for

Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and licensing requirements


Requirements

Active Property & Casualty insurance license

Prior experience in insurance sales or client advising

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to build trust and explain coverage clearly

Comfort working with clients in person and by phone

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or quoting systems

Strong attention to detail when reviewing policies and applications

Preferred: Knowledge of local Vermont insurance needs and market trends

Preferred: Experience handling renewals, cross-selling, or account growth
