Develop and cultivate in market relationships

Generate new business, leads and referrals

Ensure company services standards are met at all times

Foster business development and agency growth within the community

Excellent customer service & relationship building
Selling Life Policies
Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
Job Requirements
Life & Health and Property Casualty Agents License
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Confident, self-starter who works well independently

Strong organizational skills

Outstanding customer service and people skills
License in the Property & Casualty Insurance Lines required and must have/be obtained prior to employment (Company will reimburse)
License in the Life & Health Insurance Lines must be obtained within 180 days of employment (Company will reimburse)
Organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
PC skills; experience with Windows-based computer applications a plus
Ability/desire to work in small business environment
Ability to learn American Family products, services, and computer systems
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Prior insurance experience is not required
One year of prior customer service experience and sales experience are required
Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required
