Responsibilities

  • Create new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, networking, community involvement, and agency-provided leads.
  • Lead clients through a consultative sales experiencefrom the first conversation and needs assessment to presenting tailored insurance solutions and closing the opportunity.
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships by understanding clients' goals, identifying their unique risks, and recommending personalized coverage options.
  • Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting, follow-up, relationship development, and effective time management.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and production goals by applying proven sales strategies and maintaining a commitment to personal growth.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by educating customers, answering questions, and helping them make confident insurance decisions.
  • Develop referral partnerships and community connections that support continued agency growth and long-term success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all sales activities, applications, and client interactions align with company, underwriting, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends, carrier updates, and agency initiatives to better serve clients.

Requirements

An active Texas Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

  • Previous insurance sales experience is preferred; candidates with success in other goal-driven sales environments are encouraged to apply.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm for building relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client conversations.
  • Strong communication, listening, and consultative sales skills with the ability to understand client needs and provide thoughtful solutions.
  • A self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented mindset with the drive to achieve both personal and team goals.
