Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide customized solutions
  • Generate new business through outbound activity, referrals, networking, and relationship-building
  • Conduct coverage reviews and identify cross-sell opportunities that improve client protection
  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships to encourage retention and referrals
  • Manage policy creation, renewals, endorsements, and adjustments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and pipeline management through CRM systems
  • Stay informed on industry changes, carrier updates, and product knowledge
  • Contribute positively to a structured, growth-oriented team environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

Licensing

Active Connecticut Property & Casualty Insurance License required.

Experience

Previous insurance sales or producer experience strongly preferred.

Communication

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and explain coverage clearly.

Customer-Focused

Committed to providing excellent client service while building long-term relationships.

Sales & Prospecting

Comfortable with proactive outreach, lead generation, relationship-driven sales, and working toward performance goals.

Team Environment
