Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy Chiropractic office. This independent role focuses on delivering expert hands-on therapy with an emphasis on deep tissue massage, medical massage, pre-natal massage and empathetic client care. Additional certifications in cupping and hot stone and pluses, but not required. Our office is offering approximately 16 hours/week at this time, days/hours are flexible.  Potential for more hours in future.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic massage including deep tissue techniques for specific medical conditions while working hand in hand with our chiropractors for complete patient care
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards for therapy room and equipment
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments and with office chiropractors/staff
• Manage appointment schedules and ensure timely session delivery
• Provide empathetic care supporting our patients' physical and emotional well-being

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy
• Excellent client and staff communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Adherence to sanitation procedures
• Demonstrated empathy in client interactions
• Active massage therapy license in state of Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in massage therapy
