Job Summary
Suffolk Plastic Surgeons, PC is seeking a Part-Timelicensed Massage Therapist to join our successful plastic surgery office. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patients' individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
- Educate clients on the services and products offered, as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
- Maintain accurate records of each session using our practice management software. The ability to use a tablet is required
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
Qualifications
- Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
- Must be capable of performing lymphatic (certification required), deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strongly service-oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity.
