Job Summary Come join Nirvana Bodywork + Mobility, a growing wellness practice in the heart of Virginia Beach! We're looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who loves helping people move, feel, and live better. You'll get to build real relationships with clients, tailor treatments to their goals, and grow your own skills alongside a team that genuinely has your back.
Responsibilities
Conduct thoughtful consultations and assessments to build personalized treatment plans
Perform a variety of massage and bodywork techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, therapeutic stretching, cupping, and scraping
Educate clients on treatment recommendations and the benefits of consistent care
Keep accurate, thorough client documentation
Support scheduling and rebooking to help clients stay on track with their goals
Keep treatment rooms and shared spaces clean, organized, and sanitized per protocol
Bring positive energy to a collaborative, growth-oriented team
Comply with all applicable health, safety, and licensing standards
Qualifications
Current Virginia Massage Therapy License in good standing
Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program
3+ years of professional massage experience preferred
Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and mobility-focused modalities
Strong service orientation and comfort working one-on-one with clients
High level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
A genuine passion for helping people feel and move their best
Pay rate determined off of skill and knowledge at hands-on interview
Availability: Flexible scheduling, with at least one weekend shift required.
