About the Role: Join KINDHEARTED HEALTHCARE SERVICES INC as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Greenbelt, MD, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families. We are seeking compassionate professionals dedicated to providing high-quality Psychotherapy in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide counseling and support to clients facing various life challenges, including mental health issues and family dynamics.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure holistic care and continuity of services.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and community outreach programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
Stay current with best practices and regulations in social work and healthcare.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Current Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential in the state of Maryland.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.
