The Electrician ensures a safe, comfortable, and attractive healthcare environment, reflecting an attitude of help and service on behalf of the Plant Engineering Department. They undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The Electrician is responsible for installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, the Electrician must be first and foremost be a responsible individual with great attention to safety precautions. They must be experienced with different kinds of electrical devices and systems. The Electrician’s goal is to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and
maximize usability of electricity in all facilities. They must also be committed to the concept of continuous improvement in all aspects of their job duties and must be willing and able to learn and share knowledge with others. The Electrician must be dependable, trustworthy, enthusiastic, polite, and thorough.
