About the Role:Rose Serenity Wellness Center Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team in Jupiter, FL. Position Type:This is a
1099 independent contractor, fee-for-service position. Compensation is based on completed billable client sessions and related approved clinical services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, client-centered care
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with Florida licensure requirements
Requirements:
- Active Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license required
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Experience with individual therapy, CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills (DSM-5)
- Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
