Position Overview:Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-Time Licensed Therapists to provide in-home and center-based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. - Performing bio-psycho- social assessments is a plus.
- Implement coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.)
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
- Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
Requirements: - Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training (e.g. CSOC Training)
- Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, DBT, Trauma Response, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused
- Knows how to use the DSM-5-TR for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Must be available for a minimum 10-20 hours per week during after-school hours of 12noon through 8pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Must maintain a minimum caseload of 2–4 clients for part-time staff
- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20, and working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.
- State Reciprocity considered, but candidate must be within 25–30 minutes of service areas
