    Location: Scottsdale, AZ
    Pay: $65,000–$85,000 annually

Anew Treatment Center is seeking an independently licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who values collaboration, meaningful clinical work, and the opportunity to be actively involved in a residential treatment environment.

Anew provides behavioral health treatment for adults experiencing complex mental health and co-occurring conditions. Our therapists provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy while working closely with the broader treatment team to support clients throughout their treatment journey.

    The Impact You’ll Make

As a Therapist at Anew, you will help clients and their families build greater stability, resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change. Beyond traditional psychotherapy, our therapists are active members of the therapeutic community—collaborating with clinical, psychiatric, healthcare, and residential staff and helping clients apply therapeutic skills within their everyday environment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide high-quality individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
    • Manage a clinical caseload as determined by the Clinical Director.
    • Conduct and participate in clinical assessments and reassessments and develop diagnostic impressions within scope of practice.
    • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team regarding client progress, treatment needs, risk concerns, and discharge planning.
    • Maintain an active presence within the therapeutic milieu and help address emerging clinical needs and dynamics.
    • Provide additional clinical coverage when needed, including individual, family, and group sessions.
    • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and admission and discharge documentation.
    • Participate in clinical meetings, case consultation, professional development, trainings, and staff meetings.
    • Maintain professional and ethical standards related to boundaries, confidentiality, HIPAA, and clinical practice.
    • Provide culturally responsive care and demonstrate respect for the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients and colleagues.

    Qualifications

    • Current, active Arizona independent behavioral health license in good standing as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
    • Clinical experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
    • Experience working with adults with complex mental health and/or co-occurring conditions strongly preferred.
    • Residential, higher-acuity, or intensive behavioral health treatment experience preferred.
    • Experience with clinical assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge planning preferred.
    • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
    • Valid driver's license in good standing and current auto insurance.
    • Successful completion of drug screening and comprehensive background check.

    Success in This Role

We are looking for a clinician who brings strong clinical judgment, empathy, emotional intelligence, healthy professional boundaries, cultural competence, adaptability, ethical integrity, and a collaborative approach to treatment.

    Benefits

    • PTO and Sick Time accrual from your first day
    • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
    • 401(k) Plan
    • Professional development opportunities
    • Collaborative clinical environment with ongoing case consultation and support

    Why Anew?

Anew offers a unique opportunity to practice therapy within a highly collaborative residential treatment environment. Our clinicians aren't working in isolation—they are part of an interdisciplinary team and therapeutic community focused on helping clients translate insight gained in therapy into meaningful change in their daily lives.

If you are an independently licensed clinician looking for an opportunity to provide thoughtful, relationship-centered care while being an active part of a collaborative treatment team, we'd love to hear from you.
