    Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic

    Hinesville, GA

    Starting Salary: $84,000-$87,000

    The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic provides high-quality, accessible mental health care to post-9/11 veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard members, Reservists, and their families.

    We're seeking a licensed therapist who is passionate about evidence-based treatment and committed to serving those who have served our country.     Schedule

    • Primarily daytime schedule
    • One evening commitment each week, with services provided until 7:00 PM on Wednesdays

    What You'll Do

    • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations
    • Develop treatment plans based on client needs and clinical presentation
    • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy
    • Deliver evidence-based treatments for PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and other behavioral health conditions
    • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
    • Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, caregivers, and other treatment team members
    • Participate in weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings
    • Support positive treatment outcomes through high-quality, client-centeredcare

    Required Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
    • Active, independent licensure in Georgia as:
      • LCSW
      • LPC
      • LMFT
    • Experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, couples, and families
    • Experience diagnosing and treating behavioral health conditions using DSM-5 criteria
    • Experience assessing and treating trauma and PTSD
    • Eligibility to become a TRICARE Certified Mental Health Counselor (TCMHC)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with military members, veterans, and military families
    • Experience delivering evidence-based trauma treatments
    • Certification or demonstrated proficiency in:
      • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
      • Prolonged Exposure (PE)
      • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Experience treating:
      • Depression
      • Anxiety disorders
      • Grief and bereavement
      • Family and relationship concerns
      • Substance use disorders
