Job Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive mental health care to patients with emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. This role delivers evidence-based individual therapy; conducts psychosocial assessments; develops treatment plans; and collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessments, intake interviews, and mental health evaluations.
     
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals.
     
  • Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
     
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
     
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
     
  • Collaborate with neurologists, medical staff, and support providers to coordinate care.
     
  • Ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and documentation standards.
     
  • Participate in case consultation, supervision, and team meetings.
     

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
     
  • Active South Carolina professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
     
  • Proven experience providing therapy in clinical or medical behavioral health settings.
     
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
     
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
     

Preferred:

  • Experience with neuropsychological or neurological patient populations.
     
  • Training in trauma-informed, cognitive, or integrative therapies.

Market Compensation – South Carolina (U.S.)

 Base Salary Range:$100,000 – $150,000 per year
