• Approximately $60,000 annual base salary (negotiable based on experience)
• Uncapped tiered commission structure with opportunity to transition into a higher commission plan
• Commission-only option available with recoverable draw

The ideal candidate consistently originates residential mortgage loans through self-generated business and is looking for an environment that offers greater product flexibility, operational support, and long-term growth potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain referral partnerships with Realtors, builders, financial advisors, investors, and other community partners.
• Originate residential mortgage loans while guiding borrowers through the financing process from consultation to closing.
• Structure loan solutions that best meet borrowers' financial goals using a diverse portfolio of lending products.
• Develop new business through networking, community involvement, and relationship-building activities.
• Manage an active pipeline while maintaining consistent communication with borrowers and referral partners.
• Partner closely with in-house processors, underwriters, and closing staff to ensure efficient loan execution.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, investor, and company lending guidelines.
• Track production goals and continuously expand personal referral networks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license.
• Recent experience originating residential mortgage loans.
• Demonstrated success generating business through referral relationships rather than solely company-provided leads.
• Proven ability to independently manage a mortgage pipeline.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential mortgage products.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Established network of Realtors, builders, and referral partners throughout the DFW market.
• Experience originating Jumbo, Construction, HELOC, USDA, or portfolio loan products.
• History of consistent monthly production.
• Community banking or mortgage banking experience preferred.
