About the Position

First-level Nursing position accountable for planning, developing, coordinating and conducting scheduling for the Nurse Affiliation Program for all student nurses associated with contracted schools in the program. Obtain and keep on file all current contracts for all schools of nursing every 3 (three) years and as requested. Learn the role of and become the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator (TCC) for MSH to include handling/storing of records, securing/distributing cards and exams, managing instructors at all Department of Mental Health (DMH) training sites, and remaining current on all AHA information to distribute to all training sites. Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting training in CPR, use of the AED, and IPS/JNH Protective Interventions for new, returning, and existing MSH employees. Important qualities include organization, ability to work well with others, ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the public via email, phone, or in-person conversation. Preferred Qualifications
