Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in long-term care, rehabilitation, acute care, nursing home, and home health settings. The ideal candidate is dedicated to ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being while assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and transferring.
Measure and accurately record patients' vital signs.
Assist patients with ambulation, mobility, and proper body positioning.
Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition or abnormal findings to the supervising nurse.
Notify the supervising nurse immediately when a patient reports pain.
Maintain patient safety by following established care plans and infection control procedures.
Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with oral hygiene, skin care, nail care, and foot care.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Report to assigned facilities on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
Wear required identification and maintain professional conduct at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or facility management.
Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for the state of employment (if required).
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain accurate patient documentation.
Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (2–5 hours at a time).
Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and other healthcare-related hazards.
