Role Description The Licensed Optician will work on-site in Buffalo, NY in a full-time capacity, supporting patients with their eyewear selections and fittings. Daily responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, advising patients on lens options and frame styles, performing measurements and adjustments, and ensuring proper fit and comfort of eyewear. The role involves coordinating with optometrists, reviewing eye exam results to guide product recommendations, and educating patients on lens features, coatings, and care. The optician will also handle orders, verify lens specifications, perform quality checks, and assist with repairs and adjustments. Providing consistent, respectful customer service and maintaining accurate records are key aspects of this position.
