Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist - Pembroke Pines, Florida


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a pediatric therapy team focused on helping children reach their highest level of physical function and independence. This opportunity is available on a full-time, part-time, or PRN basis and offers a supportive clinical environment where therapists can make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.

 

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment, and ongoing therapeutic services to pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and physical challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about pediatric care, committed to clinical excellence, and enjoys working collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate pediatric patients and identify functional limitations and therapy needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall function
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and family members to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in patient reassessments and progress reporting
  • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and rehabilitation principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience treating children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, orthopedic diagnoses, or other pediatric disorders
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
