Mid Cal Labor Solutions is looking for a licensed pest control technician safely inspects, identifies, and eradicates pests in residential and commercial properties. Evaluate infestations, apply treatments according to strict safety regulations, and advise clients on prevention. This physical, hands-on role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
Basic Core Responsibilities
    • Inspections: Conduct thorough interior and exterior property inspections to locate pests, entry points, and structural damage.
    • Treatment Application: Safely prepare and apply chemical, biological, or physical treatments (sprays, dusts, baits, traps).
    • Client Consultation: Explain treatment options, provide cost estimates, and educate clients on preventive measures.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding pesticide use and environmental protection.
    • Documentation: Keep accurate daily logs of services rendered, chemicals used, and equipment maintenance. 

Basic Requirements & Qualifications
    • Licensing: Valid state-issued pesticide applicator license or certification (such as a structural pest control license).
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • License: Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortably access tight spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
    • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and customer service skills. 

Basic Work Environment
    • Requires working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
    • Often requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, goggles, and gloves.
    • Schedules commonly include local travel, and may involve evenings or weekends.
    • Pay rate is BOE
