Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities Perform all pharmacy technician duties assigned by the manager, lead and/or licensed pharmacist. Pull, pack and label medications according to the instruction generated on the labels and in accordance with standards of pharmacy practice.Prepare medication for shipment.Take ongoing inventory; check in drugs and supplies and stock shelves.Check and remove outdated medications on a routine basis to ensure that no expired medications are in stock. Keep records appropriate. Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Continue to educate by attending drug in-services and by keeping up with policy changes. Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.Perform other duties as requested.
