School-Based Physical Therapist (1 - 5 days/week)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree from an accredited institution
Must hold a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania
Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is often required
Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy goals within IEPs for students with disabilities
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Evaluate Students' Physical Needs: Conduct assessments to identify physical challenges affecting students' ability to participate in school activities.
Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Create tailored therapy programs to address students' mobility, strength, and motor skills development.
Provide Physical Therapy Services: Administer hands-on therapy sessions to improve physical function, strength, and coordination.
Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure integrated support for students' physical needs.
Document Progress and Report: Maintain accurate records of students' progress and update therapy plans as needed.
