Job Overview:
Riverview Psychiatric Center seeks Licensed Practical Nurse's (LPN) to provide paraprofessional support work in the care and treatment of patients and residents at a state institution or facility. Work includes providing direct patient care, administering medications, and providing medical treatment as prescribed by a medical health care professional. Assistance and guidance may be given to other employees administering medication and providing direct patient care. Work is performed under general supervision. Must have the ability to work overtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a state approved school of practical nursing.
Licensing Requirements:
Possession of a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
