Amber Health Care is a rapidly growing primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to our community. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
What You'll Do
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as ordered
Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments
Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection control standards
Support quality improvement initiatives and provide outstanding customer service
Qualifications
Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum one year of outpatient or primary care experience preferred
Experience with phlebotomy and injections preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
EMR experience preferred
