HumanHire is partnered with a well-established, multi-specialty oncology practice seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support a high-volume outpatient cancer care center. This role works closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing hands-on clinical support, patient education, and coordination of care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical system, including vitals, history, medications, and allergies
  • Monitor and manage provider communications through the EMR, ensuring timely follow-up on assigned tasks
  • Support inventory management by tracking supplies, placing orders, and stocking clinical areas
  • Prepare and sanitize exam rooms prior to patient visits
  • Room patients and assist with patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and at-home care instructions
  • Assist providers during exams and in-office procedures
  • Administer injections and perform blood draws and specimen collection
  • Conduct basic diagnostic testing such as EKGs and point-of-care labs
  • Administer medications under provider direction while following proper safety protocols

Requirements:
  • Active LPN license
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a specialty practice
  • Comfortable working within an electronic medical record system
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills with both patients and healthcare team members
  • Flexibility to travel between nearby office locations as needed
