    Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology Clinic

    Regions Hospital is looking to hire a License Practical Nurse to join our CV Surgery/Cardiology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

    Position Summary:

    Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Operations, the practical nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The nurse is responsible for collaborating with other healthcare team members (i.e., MD, PA, NP, RN, cardiology technician, ambulatory care coordinators) to implement the patient's plan of care. The LPN will participate in department Quality Improvement Programs and perform other duties as assigned.

    Work Schedule:

    Days may vary between Mon-Fri, hours may vary between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

    Required Qualifications:

    • Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of Minnesota.
    • Completion of an accredited training program for practical nursing.
    • Certifications:
    • BCLS for healthcare providers required through AHA.
    • Minimum of six months experience as a practical nurse in a clinic setting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Cardiology experience.
