Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Summary
Temah Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Physician, or Nurse Practitioner (NP), ensuring high-quality care while maintaining patient safety and comfort in behavioral health, outpatient, and residential treatment facility settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist with patient assessments and documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Respond appropriately to concerns and emergencies·         
  • Provide nursing support within the residential treatment facility, including monitoring residents’ health status, supporting medication compliance, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Maryland
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team·         
  • Experience in behavioral health, primary care, outpatient services, or a residential treatment facility preferred
