6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (3 days per week)

Position Summary
Penda Aiken inc. is a staffing firm located in Brooklyn New York. Our client is a New York State Agency and is seeking detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professionals to join their clinical team. These roles focus on providing nursing care under the direction of an RN, physician, or other authorized health care provider. The successful candidates will be responsible for medication administration, bedside nursing care, and patient health status recording within a state-operated facility.
This is a fast-paced role requiring high reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet strict clinical deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care under the direction of an RN, physician, or authorized health care provider, including services requiring sterile techniques.
Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer patient medications as directed.
Health Tracking: Observe, measure, record, and report key indications of patient health status to the medical team.
Specialized Tasks: Perform routine specialized clinical tasks such as catheterizations and suctioning, as well as rarer procedures like IV therapy (with additional training).
Minimum Qualifications
Licensure: Must possess a valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License and Registration.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing work experience post-licensure.
