Role Description This full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is based in Dover, DE. The LPN will provide direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, administering medications under supervision, performing basic clinical procedures, and assisting with pulmonary treatments and diagnostics. Daily responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, supporting providers during patient visits, documenting care accurately in medical records, and reinforcing patient education on respiratory conditions, medications, and follow-up care. The LPN will coordinate with physicians and other clinical staff, help manage patient flow, and adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also involves communicating with patients and families, responding to patient inquiries, and contributing to a respectful, team-oriented care environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain), and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pulmonary, respiratory, or internal medicine, with strong skills in vital signs assessment, medication administration, and basic procedures.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation, charting, and maintaining accurate, confidential patient records.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and standard clinical practices; ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage patient flow in a busy practice.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Prior experience as an LPN in outpatient or hospital settings is preferred.
