Youll experience meaningful high-impact work by providing nursing services training and support for individuals with brain injuries intellectual and developmental disabilities substance use disorders andor emotional or behavioral challenges.
What Youll Do
Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are delivered.
Administer medications and document care while overseeing staff administering medications.
Provide prescribed medical treatments per physicians orders along with personal care services.
Conduct assessments implement health care services within Individual Service Plans ISP and respond to changes in condition.
Train staff on universal precautions infection control and medication administration.
Serve as liaison and advocate with medical and professional service providers ensuring consistent care.
Educate individuals on topics such as self-medication prescribed treatments and health prevention.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing or related field or state certificate
One year of experience serving this population in a nursing capacity
Current state LPN or LVN license for state of residence
Current drivers license car registration and auto insurance
Additional certifications as required CPRFA HIVAIDS BBP ACT training
Strong communication skills with staff individuals served and families
