Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Shift: Variable Evenings – 8-Hour Shifts
Compensation:
- Traveler Pay: $37–$39/hr based on experience
- Local Pay: $31–$33/hr based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician while assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under physician or Registered Nurse supervision
- Take and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor medical procedures
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Required Qualifications:
- Current Missouri or Compact State LPN License
- Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty required
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
