Pay between $27-$34/hour
(based on experience and shift differential)

St. Margaret's Center, an affiliate of the Center for Disability Services, is a 94-bed pediatric and young adult skilled nursing facility located in Albany, NY. Founded in 1883, we provide specialized long-term care for medically fragile infants, children, and young adults on a single dedicated campus.
Our team delivers advanced 24-hour medical care in a nurturing, home-like environment where residents can experience a full childhood - including school, activities, family time, and friendships.
Requirements for a Licensed Practical Nuse (LPN) -
- Current and valid New York State LPN license
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in acute care or long-term care setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
What you'll do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -
- Provide direct nursing care and treatment to residents/individuals, including medication administration and clinical procedures, in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status; promptly report changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions under the direction of an RN
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in medical records and nursing notes
- Ensure nursing equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Support the RN with assessments, care planning, and annual evaluations as needed
- Maintain organized, up-to-date medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including providers, staff, and administration
- Participate in nursing and program meetings and contribute to quality care initiatives
