Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract opportunity with our assisted living facility in Columbia, MD.
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr
Available Work Schedules:
7:00am - 3:00pm (Days)
3:00pm - 11:00pm (Evenings)
11:00pm - 7:00am (Nights)
Schedules available for both 3 and 4 shifts per week
All schedules require every other weekend rotation
Contract Details:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 8 week contract terms with extensions
Job Details:
Provides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse.
Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and/or changes in health status.
Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department.
Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department.
Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff.
Qualifications:
Current LPN License
Prior LPN experience in a nursing home or assisted living facility preferred
