Location: Elkins, WV
Contract Duration: 6–14 Weeks
Shift Options: 12-Hour Day or Night Shifts
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Elkins, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, support the healthcare team, and help maintain a safe and professional clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and comfort care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, patients, and family members regarding care plans and updates
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Active LPN License required
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including nights
